OK I will be quite honest here I was among those who HATED IKon's debut. Usually when you hear YG is 'finally' debuting a group well you immediately think of Monster Rookie and what not but for IKon (though they were successful in their own way) they were far from what I would call on par with 2NE1, WINNER, AKMU debut. Infact it was no surprise to me since their debut musically was not good IMO. However I don't give a F*** about BI controversy since I'm only interested in music here and not their character it's not like i'm his Bottom B**** that I entitled to judge him from a video.
However, their past releases had me hooked. Apology is a great song. I mean really Good song. And I really liked What's Wrong and Dumb Dumber. Though I still don't consider myself an IKonic (need more songs from them to decide) I do feel bad about the constant witch hunting going on towards them..especially here on AKP. Like some have really stupid reasons to hate on them that it makes me laugh.
1.Hate them for having no finalised concept? Well how is it that you don't call it versatility as you would have said for our bias groups.
2.Hate on BI's character? You know him personally I guess.
3.Hate on them for coming from YG? Well YG the guy is no saint and yes he did do more harm than good to IKon but saying that IKon are not as deserving as other 'nugu' groups such as Seventeen and Monsta X..common..I would have agreed if the IKon were not working their ass writing songs too and taking part in two shitty survival shows.
4.Hate on IKON for their screen time? Well relax at least our bias are free to perform in all three SBS, MBC & KBS all year round. Flaunt that to IKonics. Did you die from the extra seconds with IKon.
5. Hate them for Red/Orange Red and what not? Lol this one is too funny too even give an explanation.
6. Hate them for line distribution? Well tell that to SENIOR groups out there such as SUJU, 4minute, etc. (Sorry no hate intended but few examples i can give right now..)
Anyway I just wanted to post this because I'm getting fed up with an IKon thread showing up each day with low level of relevancy. Sorry for the long rant.
