Why did the former members of RaNia leave the group?

I'm not talking about the former members that left soon after debut.. but the ones that stayed for a while

Riko, Saem & Jooyi.

I know at a certain point, RaNia signed to a Spanish label for Spanish activities.
It was around that time that Riko left the group (altho back then not confirmed)

After that, their Spanish label were to hold auditions for a new 6th member



[At this point Riko's status within the group was still unknown, but clearly she left]

These auditions never took place because of the following drama

''INGENIOMedia (RaNia's Spanish label) cut ties with RaNia soon afterwards following a controversial event in which they purposefully leaked RaNia's comeback track "Acceleration" to a fan, forcing DR Music to do damage control and start work on a new single. INGENIOMedia then informed DR Music that the comeback was "taking too long", and said they were no longer willing to work with them.

This all happened in 2014.
Back then RaNia was supposed to make a comeback in July 2014.

In late fall of 2014, fans became worried when they realized that Saem hadn't appeared with the group since earlier that summer (July) and all the other members unfollowed her on social media.
I guess she couldn't handle the drama and poor management and left the group.

The group added a new member for a very short period of time; Sharon Park



In January of 2015, Jooyi stopped attending live performances and was seemingly replaced by a new member, Hyeme. When asked about the change, DR Music stated that Jooyi was simply on hiatus and that Hyeme was a trainee. Later that year both Jooyi and Riko released solo music.

I don't know, but clearly something was going on for a Main Vocal (Jooyi) to leave all of a sudden.
I noticed during RaNia's ''Just Go'' era live performances Jooyi was never in the middle (not even during her part). And she got pretty much little to no screentime even tho she sings the chorus of the song and does the high notes and ad libs.

So she left
In April of 2015 Sharon Park also left, leaving RaNia with the following members

- Di
- XIA
- T-ae
- Hyeme

After months and months of silence, RaNia added another member (Seulji) and the new line up performed for the first time together:



This was a good sign, meaning they would probably make a comeback soon.
And they did, they announced their comeback with Demonstrate. But then a more omg moment came along.

The group added a new 6th member Alex: the first ever afro-american member of a K-pop girlgroup.



People are wondering why Alex leaves the stage when she does her first rap part before appearing again to rap her 2nd part;

Heres the full backstory: Alex was not gonna be part of the Demonstrate comeback but from the next album. Since they wanted to work together so badly they did a last minute thing and added her to the song. (Later it was announced that she didn't appear in the music video due to visa problems)

Alex has stated that she knows the full choreo of the song, but since the members and backup dancers already had their fixed positions she couldnt just ask them to change the whole thing just for her, especially since the other members were practicing for a few months already.

so yeah.

In the meantime... RaNia is set to make a comeback this month (according to their crowdfunding page and also according to Alex)
