Don't take this thread the wrong way, I'm not bashing any of the other members or trying to start a fan-war. I'm merely asking a question(s) that's been on my mind for awhile.
- I think by now that most of us know that Eunji is quite good for an idol actress. She really shined through in Reply 1997/1994 and I personally believe that a portion of massive success of the series should be credited to her. Her acting broke some of the stereotypes of idol actors/actresses and I know that she made a lot of non 에이핑크 fans like her as well. I feel like if she picked the right roles, she could become a full time actress.
- I'm not saying that she's the best dancer out there, definitely not. However I do believe that there's a large amount of potential in her to learn more advanced styles of dance that isn't being in harvested while she's in 에이핑크. Their choreography is great and I love it but watching Sassy Go Go/Cheer Up! (10/10 would recommend, ignore the plot and just watch it. You'll love it, I swear) has made me really curious of her capabilities.
- I personally don't think that her vocals are that well shown in their title track songs and at the end of the day, people who aren't fans won't know how amazing her voice is because they don't bother to look any further. I know a few people, myself including would absolutely die if she released a trot/trot inspired album. Her voice honestly suits the genre perfectly and would bring in new/younger fans to appreciate the music as well. But I'm not picky or anything, any type of solo album would satisfy me at this point. Their style of music as a group is quite repetitive and has been known to be a deal breaker for some. I feel like if she was on her own that people could really see her true color and capabilities.
What do you think? Would she be better off on her own? Is she being held back by Cube? I'm sorry that this post is so messy but I think most of you know that I can't type for shit by now. But you should get the general vibe of what I'm trying to say. Leave me your thoughts/opinions, doesn't matter if you agree with me or not. I just wanted to hear what you're thinking as well.
